18 June 2014 - Senior and Masters Gathering

Tír Chonaill AC is one of the largest athletics clubs in County Donegal and Ulster and now has training groups in Bundoran, Ballyshannon, Donegal Town and Glenties. Members of our club train and compete across all disciplines including Cross Country, Track and Field, Triathlon and Road Running. Many of our senior athletes train and compete as part of college teams but all have one thing in common, we are part of one of the most successful athletics clubs in Ireland and proud to wear the Red of Tír Chonaill. A large club with diversified training venues encounters new challenges as it grows and the recent retirement of Paddy Donaghue from active coaching in the club has brought some of these issues into the limelight. At its recent meeting the committee agreed that the chairperson David Doherty will host a gathering of all Senior and Masters Tír Chonaill athletes in Dorrians Hotel on Wednesday 25th June at 8:00pm. The meeting will discuss Training Venues, Schedules and the requirements of athletes going forward. Senior Club coaches will be in attendance.

All senior and masters athletes are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
