Ulster Open Juvenile Championships

The 'Ulster Open Juvenile Championships, held in conjunction with the 'Irish Senior Championships', had athletes from all over Ulster, the rest of Ireland and Scotland compete over the two days.

The following won Gold medals:

Karl Griffin, U17 800m

Denise Breslin, Shot Putt U14

Ciara Doogan High Jump U15

Sarah Timoney, U15 1000m walk, Girls U15 and U16 4 x 200m relays teams

 

The following won Silver medals:

Kate McGowan U15 Long Jump

Jessica Quinn, U15 1,000m walk

Kelly Mc Grory, U16 60m and 200m

 

The following won Bronze medals:

Eva McMullan U15 60m

Christopher O’Laughlan, U15 60m

Kate McGowan U15 60m Hurdles

Kelly McGrory, U15 Hurdles

 

Mark Hegarty, recently transferred to Tír Chonaill won the U15 Shot Putt while Christopher Doherty cleared a PB height of 3.70m in the Pole Vault.
