15 Apr 2010 - British Sportshall finals in Birmingham
This weekend Donegal Under 13 Boys and Girls, and Under 15 Girls will represent Ulster at the British Sportshall Finals in Birmingham.
The three teams, qualified at Ulster Finals in Magherafelt three weeks ago, will have the cream of the counties young athletes - drawn from the following clubs - Inishowen, Letterkenny, Rosses, Tír Chonaill and Sl Liag. The complete squad came together for a training session last Thursday evening in the Abbey Vocational School, Donegal Town and were fine tuned in all disciplines.
Neil Cullen, County Sportshall coordinator, outlined various aspects of the trip, indicated that he expected outstanding performances from all three teams against the best from Scotland, Wales and England, and thanked Brian McMullin, - McMullin Solicitors, for sponsoring the team.
