2009 Aviva UK Sportshall Finals, Birmingham

Five club juveniles were in Birmingham over the weekend competing on the Donegal U-13 girls and boys Sportshall teams at the UK finals. The girl’s team, which included club athletes Kate McGowan, Karen Tracey, Kelly McGrory and Emma Brady, finished in a brilliant fourth place, just missing out on medals, with 1078 points. The boy’s team that included Jamie Brennan of Bundoran finished a very creditable sixth on 1037 points. Well done all.

Boys Under 15 Fermangh finished 4th
Girls Under 15 Derry City finished 5th
Boys under 13 Donegal finished 3rd
Girls Under 13 Donegal finished 6th
