Abbey Voc and Carrick Voc are tops at Round 1 Sportshall Competition

One hundred and forty four athletes from six schools, Carick Voc; Killybegs Voc; Magh Ene, Bundoran; Scoil Colmcille, Balyhannon; St Josephs, Derry City and host school Abbey Voc took part in Round 1 of the 1st Years Donegal Post Primary Schools Competition in Abbey Vocational Gymnasium on Thursday Dec 4th. Following two hours of exciting competition where the young athletes took part in sprinting, field events and relays Carrick Voc [Boys] and Abbey [Girls] were overall winners. The county finals take place in mid January 2009.
