Donegal Sportshall League, Round 1, Dungloe Sportshall

The club travelled to Dungloe on Saturday last for the first round in the Sportshall League for age groups 96/97 and 98/99 and came home lying in second place with some very fine individual performance and an excellent overall team performance.
Host club, the Rosses lead with 206 points with Tír Chonaill AC second on 115 points and Letterkenny third on 102 points. Twenty-four athletes travelled on the team with twelve on each age group team. Each team was made up of four athletes from each of the three training groups, Ballyshannon, Bundoran and Donegal Town. The club were particularly impressive in both the 3 x 1 lap and 6 x 1 lap relays and also in both the standing long jump.
