Danny McDaid 15k Letterkenny

Six club athletes competed at the Danny McDaid 15k in Letterkenny with all recording fine performances. John Cannon was first club athlete to finish in a fine 64.18 for third place in his category, followed by Philomena Gallagher, with an excellent run in 66.50 for second place in her category.
Marie Rooney was next across the line in a good 68.31, also for second in her category followed by Linda Ward, with her best race in some time completing the prize collecting with another good second place in her category with 70.52 on the clock.
Niall Clancy followed closely with a debut at the distance in a super 73.43 while Tony Cummins was pleased with his 83.44, despite feeling unwell for the previous few days.
