St John Bosco Club Athletes at North West Squad Day
Ten athletes from the St John Bosco Club attended the 3rd Athletics Ireland North West Squad day of the current season at the Finn Valley Centre, on Sunday last. Jarlath Ruane, Christopher Britton, Christopher Doherty, Ciaran Curneen, Aoife O’Connor, Amie Brogan, Louise Harvey, Kitty O’Kennedy, Rose McCauley and Molly O’Gara were part of seventy strong group from Donegal, Derry and Tyrone who received coaching in a selected discipline and were involved in an excellent presentation/discussion with 400m International athlete Elaine McCafferty. In addition to the experienced local event coahes, International Coaches Maeve and Sean Kyle also attended. The next Squad day takes place on Sunday 17th February.

Ulster & Scotish Indoors
St John
Bosco AC will be sending two teams to the Scottish Indoor Relay c/ships in the
Kelvin Hall on March 1st and eight individuals to the Scottish age
group c/ships at the same venue on 8/9th February. The Odyssey
Indoor Arena, Belfast, is the venue next weekend for the Irish Indoor c/ships. Part
1 of the Ulster Juvenile Indoors will be held on at the same venue on Saturday
and Sunday mornings. Twenty club athletes will compete in this prestigious
arena – we wish all of them success and enjoyment
