St John Bosco Athletics Club  Awards Presentation Night

Over four hundred Athletes, Parents and friends packed the ballroom in the Central Hotel, Donegal Town, on Friday night for the '3rd Annual St John Bosco Athletics Club Presentation Function'. Club Secretary and MC for the night Patricia Britton, recognised the achievements of over sixty of the clubs members via a  professional presentation that included video clips, power point, and background detail of each athletes achievements.

 

Overall club athlete awards went to Jarlath Ruane and Louise Harvey, both had won numerous 'All Ireland Medals' during 2007, to 'All Ireland Medal Winners', to 'Ulster Medal Winners' and to fifty five Athletes who represented the club with distinction at Donegal, Ulster and All Ireland Championships.One of the biggest rounds of applause was received when David Doherty, who was called up to receive the 'Coach of the Year' award.
