St. John Bosco AC at Donegal Athletic Board Crosscountry Championship - Round Two - Milford Co. Donegal

Milford was the venue on Sunday last for Round Two of the Donegal Athletics Board C/C c/ships. Once again St. John Bosco athletes had an enjoyable and a most successful outing.

Kate McGowan led the Under 11 girl’s team with a 7^th individual place finish and an excellent 3^rd team medal winning position. She was supported by Katie Hoade, Emma Cotton, Ciara Duggan, Ruth Gillespie and Billie Jane Barnes.

Matthew Oates led the Under 11 Boys with a very good 9^th place finish and was supported by Mark Boyle and Seamus Carr.

Kelly McGrory led the Under 13 Girls team of Emma Brady, Karen Tracey, Claire Brady and Hazel Gillespie to a 4^th overall team finish.

Calvin McShane led the Under 13 Boys to a 3^rd Bronze medal team finish with Conor Cotton, Daire Quinn and Patrick Reid being the support runners.

Calvin Keily, Gary Blain and Christopher Doherty were the clubs representatives in the Under 15 Boys race. All ran very well.

Finally the Girls Under 15 team of Louise Harvey, Rose McCauley, Molly O’Gara and Kate McCarthy combined for an excellent 2^nd team finish.

The club extents congratulations to all athletes and thanks coaches David Doherty, Jackie Harvey, Richard McCarthy and the numerous parents who travelled to help and support.

Next Sunday eleven club athletes have been invited to the Ulster Development Squad Day at the Finn Valley Centre. Transport will be finalised at training on Thursday night.
